Yes. McAfee Institute is approved for:

• Credentialing Assistance (CA)
• COOL (Credentialing Opportunities On-Line) programs across all branches

These benefits allow active-duty personnel to pursue certifications with little to no out-of-pocket cost.

2. Which military branches recognize McAfee Institute certifications?

Our certifications are recognized by all U.S. military branches, including:

• Army
• Air Force
• Navy
• Marines
• Coast Guard
• National Guard

We are also approved by the Department of Defense, with many programs aligned to Military Occupational Specialties (MOS).

3. Do I need command approval to use Credentialing Assistance?

Yes. All Credentialing Assistance applications must be approved by your CA/COOL program. We provide supporting documents ie an invoice to streamline this process.

4. Can veterans or government employees enroll using GI Bill® or other programs?

While McAfee Institute is not currently eligible for VA GI Bill®, veterans and government employees often receive training reimbursement or funding through agency tuition assistance programs, professional development funds, or third-party workforce grants.

5. Does McAfee assist with the application process?

Yes. Our admissions team will walk you step-by-step through getting an invoice to submit for CA or COOL funding.
